Editor Support for Red Sea Modern Language

RSML is currently supported in 3 code editors, out of which 1 is an IDE.

Visual Studio​

[!NOTE] This extension is currently in preview. Some features might not be working exactly as intended, and some features might be missing. Please report any bugs you find to this repository: it would help us immensely.

RSML support in Visual Studio is achieved by installing the RSML extension for Visual Studio.

Latest supported RSML specification:

  • v2.1.0 (unreleased)

Recognized file types:

  • .rsea
  • .decision
  • .rsml

Features:

  • Syntax highlighting

Planned features:

  • Evaluate RSML from within Visual Studio (current host, default common hosts and custom host)
  • "Lightbulb" actions (IntelliSense suggestions)
  • Visual editor for RSML (designer)

Visual Studio Code​

RSML support in Visual Studio Code is achieved by installing the RSML extension for Visual Studio Code.

RSML support in Notepad++ is achieved by using the custom User Defined Language available here.
